Fordor® is an early pre-emergence residual herbicide used for the control of broadleaf weeds and grasses in forestry and non-crop areas.

It is fully selective in Pinus spp. and Eucalyptus spp. plantations, allowing it to be applied both before planting and after planting without affecting these tree species.

Fordor® is formulated as 75% water-dispersible granules (WG). Its active ingredient, isoxaflutole, provides effective weed control at very low application rates per hectare. The product is supplied in 500 g water-dispersible granules.

Fordor® controls both grasses and broadleaf weeds. As an inhibitor of plant pigment biosynthesis, affected weeds emerge with a bleached or whitish appearance due to a severe lack of chlorophyll. The plant tissues then become necrotic, and the seedlings eventually die.

Application Guidelines

Fordor® may be applied using both manual and mechanical spray equipment, provided the equipment is clean and properly calibrated. A spray system with built-in agitation is preferred.

For optimum performance, ensure uniform and consistent coverage.

The recommended spray volume will depend on ground conditions.

Clean Ground: 200 L/ha
